Yesterday at the Cathedral for the 11.00 am Mass we stood for the Kyrie and Gloria, as required by the liturgical books. Father Burns Huggan was the celebrant for the Mass.
So since Archbishop Hart and Father David Cartwright left for World Youth Day two priests and have stood for the Kyrie and Gloria at the 11.00 am Mass.
Archbishop Hart has generally sat for the Kyrie and Gloria at this 11.00 am Mass. On 23 June he stood for them, but the week after he sat for them. I am interested to see what happens next Sunday.
