About John Lilburne

1005 K Wed 24 Oct 2001

I did a lot of reading today. I usually do a lot, but more today than usual. At breakfast The Australian, lunch at McDonalds: the Herald Sun, dinner at McDonalds: The Age. On the train to the city: Job Hunting for Dummies. At Catholic Theological College I was reading Saint Augustine and what people had written about him, for my presentation at the tutorial.

I spent the afternoon in the library. I read several journals -- The Tablet had some good articles. I had to prepare for the evening tutorial on the Old Testament wisdom literature: Sirach 24. I found an interesting book on the early Byzantine empire and enjoyed reading about Julian the Apostate and Belisarius.

At home reading mail, and then more reading on the internet.
