Its good to see Monsignor Peter Elliott being interviewed by Zenit. There is concise straight talking, for example:
Q: Are the liturgical problems behind us?
Monsignor Elliott: There has been some stabilization and the revised Roman Missal and General Instruction should help, but there are still widespread problems -- sloppy ceremonial, verbosity, vulgar music, disobedience and sheer ignorance.
It is dated 1 May 2003. With the encyclical Encyclical Ecclesia de Eucaristia hopefully there is widespread agreement on the need to address these issues.
