http://www.usccb.org/liturgy/innews/2005archives.shtml The United State's Bishops Committee for Liturgy Newsletter was made available online on 16 January 2001. They now back to 1997, click on the "BCL Newsletter" button on their page. Of particular interest is the November 2000 edition, with a letter from the Congregation of Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, explaining that the new laws take effect with the publication of the Third Edition of the Roman Missal in Latin, regardless of when translations are approved. There is lots more in the June/July 2001 edition, including plans for education at the end of this newsletter. The March/April 2002 edition descibes additions and changes in the published 2002 Roman Missal. The USA Norms for the Distribution and Reception of Holy Communion Under Both Kinds is also on this site.

www.ltp.org Liturgy Training Publications have lots of books. Q&A: The Mass by Dennis C. Smolarski, S.J. takes into account the 2000 GIRM. He has also written The General Instruction of the Roman Missal, 1969-2002: A Commentary. This is published by Liturgical Press. A 2003 LTP publication is the General Instruction of the Roman Missal. Another is Paul Turner's A Guide to the General Instruction of the Roman Missal.

www.adoremus.org/newinfo This site has numerous reports on the Institutio Generalis, and other liturgical issues. Particularly interesting are Vatican letters at: www.adoremus.org/ChurchDocs.html They have an update on developments in the last article of November 2001 News There are reports on a US bishop's meeting in the December 2001 edition, and a transcript of the bishop's discussion of American adaptations at the November 2001 meeting.

www.ignatius.com Ignatius Press have books on liturgy (although I am not aware of any on the Institutio Generalis). Books on liturgy include Understanding the Sacraments and Ceremonies of the Modern Roman Rite. The 2003 book by Fr Thomas Kocik The Reform of the Reform refers to the 2000 GIRM, but not in detail.
