Journal1005 K Wed 24 Oct 2001I did a lot of reading today. I usually do a lot, but more today than usual. At breakfast The Australian, lunch at McDonalds: the Herald Sun, dinner at McDonalds: The Age. On the train to the city: Job Hunting for Dummies. At Catholic Theological College I was reading Saint Augustine and what people had written about him, for my presentation at the tutorial. I spent the afternoon in the library. I read several journals -- The Tablet had some good articles. I had to prepare for the evening tutorial on the Old Testament wisdom literature: Sirach 24. I found an interesting book on the early Byzantine empire and enjoyed reading about Julian the Apostate and Belisarius. At home reading mail, and then more reading on the internet. Copyright J.R.
