Last night I saw the Fellowship of the Ring. I was very impressed, spectacular scenary and extraordinary battle scenes at the beginning.

An article by Ian Grayson in The Australian writes about them:

Massive AI used to create blockbuster

... Called Massive, the software uses artificial intelligence to create armies of creatures that interact with their surroundings and each other. ...

The sets were attractive and the appearances of the characters I thought was excellent.

In conveying the story by film changes were made. Providing the history at the beginning I thought made sense. The enhanced role of Arwen I disagreed with.

I think The Lord of the Rings is an excellent story. The film and its publicity should lead to more readers, which I think is good.
